This website (fionaschneider.net) has been built using the website building platform Wix.com.  It is managed and maintained solely by me, Fiona Schneider.  If you wish to contact me about this Privacy Policy, I can be reached by email via the contact form on this website.  Please include ‘Privacy Policy’ as the subject heading.
 
I take your online privacy seriously. You can visit this website anonymously as often as you like without providing any personally identifying information (such as your name or email address). I do not collect personally identifying information from you except when you specifically provide it (on the contact form), and I protect the information I receive.

If you voluntarily contact me via the contact form, this site will record your email address, name and the subject and content of your message.  The email address and name field are essential for the contact form to send but you can choose whether or not to add a subject and a message.  By submitting the form, you give your consent for your personal information disclosed on the form to be collected.  The information is kept on my Wix.com account to which only I have access.  You may ask for all your data to be deleted at any time.

 

If you voluntarily subscribe to receive emails and newsletter, this site will record your first name, surname and email address, and a checkbox confirmation that you would like to receive emails and newsletters, and that you are over eighteen years old. By submitting the form, you give your consent for your personal information disclosed on the form to be collected. You are also giving consent for me to email you with updates and newsletters.  The information is kept on my Wix.com account to which only I have access.  You may ask for all your data to be deleted at any time and can also unsubscribe if you wish.

This website will only collect personal information if you choose to voluntarily submit a contact form.  It collects your name and email address (along with your subject and message should you choose to include them) because that is the means by which I will be able to reply to your query.
 
How does this site store, use, share and disclose site visitor’s personal information?

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data is stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications, and only I can access it. Wix stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall.   If a data breach occurred, anyone who has used the contact form would be notified within 7 days.
 
I will not share your information with a third party. Sometimes, I may include third-party links through email or on the website. These sites have their own policies and you should read those before subscribing or purchasing from them.
